General Terms (Applies to All Services)

Nature of Services: All services and programs are educational and coaching-based. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, speech therapy, or medical treatment. Sessions and courses focus on mindset, personal growth, and practical strategies for parents and individuals. The coach’s role is to facilitate insight, accountability, and learning—not to diagnose, treat, or provide clinical intervention.

Client Responsibility: You must be 18 years or older to participate. You agree to engage voluntarily, communicate honestly, and take full responsibility for your choices, actions, and outcomes.

  • Coaching supports change through discussion, reflection, and strategy, not directive instruction.
  • Results depend on your own effort and implementation.
  • You will seek professional medical or mental health care if you experience distress or symptoms requiring therapy or treatment.

Confidentiality: Information shared during sessions is confidential except where disclosure is required by law (risk of harm, abuse, or court order). Digital records may be maintained for scheduling or administrative purposes and are stored securely. Sessions conducted through Kajabi, Zoom, or similar platforms use encrypted communication; however, absolute digital security cannot be guaranteed. Group or community settings are not confidential environments—participants are responsible for their own privacy and discretion.

Not a Substitute for Therapy or Medical Care: Coaching and parent education focus on skill-building, mindset, and education of research based strategies. They are not designed to address trauma, diagnose conditions, or provide mental health treatment. If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or require medical care, you agree to seek immediate help from a licensed provider or emergency service.

Scheduling and Cancellations: All sessions must be scheduled in advance using the provided booking link. Sessions start and end on time. Late arrivals cannot extend the session. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Late cancellations or missed sessions are non-refundable. The Mentor Mom, LLC reserves the right to reschedule sessions in the event of illness, emergency, or technical failure.

Payment and Refund Policy: Payment is due at the time of booking or enrollment. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise noted. Recurring subscriptions or memberships renew automatically unless canceled prior to the next billing date. Payments are processed securely through Kajabi, Stripe, or PayPal; The Mentor Mom, LLC does not store payment data. Declined or failed payments may result in suspended access until resolved.

Intellectual Property: All course materials, workbooks, downloads, and videos are owned by The Mentor Mom, LLC. They are for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be shared, republished, or used for professional teaching without written consent.

Results Disclaimer: The Mentor Mom, LLC makes no guarantee of specific outcomes or progress for parents, children, or families. Results vary based on individual effort, consistency, and personal circumstances.

Technology Disclaimer: Access to digital content may occasionally be interrupted by internet or platform issues beyond our control. The Mentor Mom, LLC is not liable for temporary outages, delays, or software updates that affect access.

Limitation of Liability: The Mentor Mom, LLC and its representatives are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation or use of services. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.

Dispute Resolution: If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution through written notice and a 30-day good-faith negotiation period. If unresolved, mediation will occur in Kent County, Michigan under the American Arbitration Association rules before court proceedings.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Kent County, Michigan.
